Curtain wall systems clad a building envelope with glass and aluminum to protect the interior from the elements and create a safe and comfortable work environment for the building occupants. Curtain walls may span multiple floors, span from floor to floor, or be used in punched opening applications. Curtain wall systems take into consideration design requirements such as: thermal expansion and contraction; building sway and movement; water diversion; and thermal efficiency for cost-effective heating, cooling, and lighting of the building.
Window wall systems are commonly used in ribbon window configurations or punched openings. The framing system span from slab-to-slab and can be installed from the building's interior to improve logistics and reduce installation costs.
